Using the TEACHERS FUNCTION makes it possible to manage Groups/Classes with students, lessons, marks, performance data, tests, ....
If you want to learn by your own (without teacher/class/group), you can also sign on as teacher, so you have access to additional options and can be your own teacher.
To sign on as teacher simply activate " teacher".
After you have signed on as teacher you can put some students to your virtual class to watch them working.
It is just simple and usefull. Try it:
To sign on your students you got two possible ways (The second one is my favorite:-)):
1) Students use "Sign on" by themselfes:
- Every student fills in the required fields of the "sign on form".
- Every student activate the Radio Button " student"
- Every student writes the USERNAME of his teacher into the field "Teacher USERNAME = groupname".
For example: If the teachers USERNAME is "mary234":
Teacher USERNAME = groupname
Student joins group/class
In that way the system can automatically put the student to the class of the teacher with the username "mary234". Students will appear in the group list of the teacher.
2) Teachers use own form to sign on his students:
- Login as teacher.
- Klick on "Group List" in the left side menu.
- Use the form "Add more students" under the group list (first the group list only contains the teacher himself).
Choose a unique username
First name
Last name
E-mail
- Students will apear in your "Group List".
You can use the students e-mail adress or use your own mailadress for all students.
Students passwords will be e-mailed to this e-mail adress. The mail Adress of the teacher is already inserted as default.
